Yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. 


Benefits of a regular Yoga practice:

·        Calms and balances the mind and body

·        Reduces stress and anxiety

·        Increases circulation

·        Improves flexibility

 

Yang/Vinyasa: Active, creative, intuitive, alignment based vinyasa flow. Students are invited to challenge themselves while modifications are offered for all levels. 

 

Gentle/Beginner:  This style is appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice as well as those looking to begin a yoga practice. Introduction to the basics of breath work, alignment & relaxation techniques.

Yin A passive practice that involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia.This practice is designed to help you sit longer, and more comfortably, in meditation by stretching connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine).

 

Assisted stretch.

 

Restorative.
